In observance of Veteran's Day 2018, Temple Israel of Lawrence will be hosting two very special events: "An Evening with Colonel Jack Jacobs, Medal of Honor Recipient," on October 30 and the film "True Honor", which tells the story of Jewish Medal of Honor recipients, on November 11, Veterans Day (please see enclosed flyers).

Nassau County 5K/10K Run for Veterans

Help Local Veterans in Need. All profits will provide direct support to local veterans. Join us for this run/walk by Veterans Memorial Plaza in Nassau County's Eisenhower Park Parking field #6A. The 5K / 10K Race will be on August 25, 2018, start time is 9:00 a.m. and Post Race Festivities will run until 2:00 p.m. The cost is $30 per person and you must register online by August 16, 2018.
